For my 13th birthday , I told my mom that I didn't want a cake, and that I wanted a mug cake. So of course while I was at school, she went and looked up three recipes (this one and the two other mug cakes), and when I got home from school, we made them and they were delicious. My dad thinks that his molten chocolate mug cake was the best, but obviously, mine is way better.

Almond Cake
Simple, yet delicious is the best way to describe this amazingly moist and flavorful cake. If friends are coming over for dinner, you can rest assured that Almond Cake is on the menu. On a recent visit, our friend Gary said to me "I don't know how you do it, if this was in my house, I'd eat it for breakfast". To which I replied "yeah, what's wrong with that?" One 9-inch or 10-inch (23-25 cm) cake. This cake is best made in the food processor. If using a stand mixture, use the paddle attachment and let the mixer run until the almond paste is finely broken up.

Noah's Banana Special
I literally made this up on the spot one night to give Noah a fun and tasty treat for a bedtime snack. There are dozens of ways to do it. Below I describe cutting the banana in half lengthwise, but you can cut it into thick coins and dollop on top, you can simply put Nutella and peanut butter in a bowl and "dip" the banana while you eat, or any of dozens of other techniques.
